ABSTRACT
This talk will offer an overview of the current state of blockchain technology is covered with the evolution of blockchain and its various applications across industries such as finance, healthcare, and supply chain management. The challenges faced by blockchain technology are highlighted, such as security and scalability, and potential solutions to these issues are provided. In addition, the latest advancements in blockchain technology are explored, including Ethereum Layer 2 solutions and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. The RAFT consensus algorithm and the Hyperledger project are discussed, which are key enablers in the world of blockchain technology. Overall, an overview of the current state of blockchain technology and its potential for future growth and development is provided.
BIOGRAPHY
Rashmi P. Sarode is a recent doctoral graduate in Computer Science from the University of Aizu, Japan. Her research interests are in cloud security and distributed ledger technologies.
