IISc invites people to assist in a language translation exercise, from Hindi to Kannada, as part of an ongoing project titled National Consortium on Machine Translation System from Indian language to Indian language [Details (pdf)]
SERC Assistant Professor Dr. Partha Talukdar received a Focused Research Award from Google Research. This invitation-only award includes an unrestricted gift of USD 50,000, and one of only two such awards offered to researchers from India.
