ParMooN |
ParMooN (Parallel Mathematics and object oriented Numerics), in cooperation with Weierstrass Institute, Berlin, is an open source finite element package for the scalable (parallel) solution of partial differential equations. ParMooN solves singularly perturbed boundary value problems, incompressible Navier-Stokes flows, viscoelastic (non-Newtonian) flows, heat and species concentration equations, moving boundary value problems, free surface and two phase flows with/without surfactants, population balance equations in 4D.

PICASSO |
Picasso is a visualization tool for graphically profiling and analyzing the behavior of database query optimizers. It is completely written in Java and is operational on a suite of industrial-strength database engines. Picasso received the Best Demo award at VLDB 2010. It has been employed as a query optimizer analysis, debugging, and redesign aid by system developers; as a query optimization test-bed by database researchers; and as a query optimizer pedagogical support by database instructors and students.

QUEST |
Quest is an implementation of the radically different PlanBouquet query processing technique, which for the first time, offers guaranteed worst-case performance bounds and repeatable execution strategies across multiple invocations of a query. Quest received the Best Demo award at VLDB 2014.
