Note to Prospective Visiting (short
term/project) Students (non-IISc):
Medical Imaging Group
(MIG) does not take any final year project
students.
If you are interested in being a visiting student(including summer internship) at MIG, you can apply for the following fellowships.
Other than the above avenues, if you wish to be a visiting student at MIG, please send me an e-mail (yalavarthy#iisc.ac.in; replace # with @) in purely text format giving the details, such as academic credentials, past research experience relevant to MIG, and your plans of research at MIG. You need to send this e-mail only once, any follow-up e-mails will end up in my e-mail spam folder. Generally I reply to my e-mails within 48 hours, if you have not heard from me within 48 hours, that means your application is not under consideration for the visiting position. Note that, any e-mail with an attached word document (such as your resume) will always end up in my spam folder.
