Mr. Ashutosh Simha (Ph.D. student of Scientific Computing Lab) has won an award of Rs. 5 Lakhs in the GE Edison Challenge 2016. Their team stood runner up among the 350 teams that participated in the challenge. The team was called Out of control, and their idea was Large scale traffic management using incentivized control techniques. The idea provided an optimal control solution for complex network driven traffic dynamics.
