CDS PhD student Kartick Ramakrishnan won the Best Poster Award at the “International Conference on 60 Years of DFT: Advancements in Theory & Computation”, IIT Mandi

Congratulations to Kartick Ramakrishnan, a PhD candidate from the MATRIX lab at the CDS department, for winning the Best Poster Award at the recently concluded “International Conference on 60 Years of DFT: Advancements in Theory & Computation” from July 21-July 26, at IIT Mandi.

Kartick Ramakrishnan, along with the co-author Phani Motamarri, received the award for their work titled “PAW-DFT-FE: Fast and scalable finite-element based approach for DFT calculations using projector-augmented wave method”.
