CDS faculty Phani Motamarri receives Prof. Priti Shankar Award for Teaching Excellence 2026

Congratulations to our faculty Dr. Phani Motamarri on receiving the Prof. Priti Shankar Award for Teaching Excellence 2026 (Engineering Category), conferred by the IISc Council. Dr. Motamarri was felicitated recently during the IISc Teacher’s Day celebrations. The Department is immensely proud of this well-deserved recognition, which honours his exceptional dedication to teaching and his sustained commitment to nurturing students through rigorous, engaging, and interdisciplinary education. His contributions have significantly enriched the academic and professional growth of students within the department and across the Institute.
