Congratulations to the following PhD students for winning the best poster awards at the recently concluded “Indo-German Workshop on Hardware-aware Scientific Computing”, University of Heidelberg, Germany from Oct 28-30, 2024.

Gourab Panigrahi (MATRIX Lab) — Fast hardware-aware matrix-free algorithm for large-scale finite-element discretized eigenvalue problems.

Nikhil Kodali (MATRIX Lab) — Residual-based subspace iteration eigensolver: A reformulated Chebyshev filtering strategy leveraging efficient approximate matrix-vector products.

Raj Maddipati (FLAME/MATRIX Lab) — Novel multiscale modelling methodology for chemical kinetic modelling of fuel oxidation using atomistic calculations.

Thivin Anand (AIREX Lab) — FastVPINNs: Efficient Tensor-based hp-VPINNS framework for solving partial differential equations.
