About Ricoh:

RIPL’s software and system teams focus on supporting cutting-edge projects in large market segments such as health care, education, finance, media and entertainment. The technologies and services developed by RIPL form the groundwork for IT solutions for other large emerging regions in addition to India, including Africa and South Asia. Together, these constitute a market of over 2.5 billion people.
About the Fellowship:
Ricoh Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. M.Tech. Fellowship is instituted at IISc and is aimed at attracting highly talented students in the area of data analysis.
The fellowship will be awarded to one of the incoming (2018-2019) M.Tech. (Computational and Data Science) students.
Entitlements of the Fellowship:
1. Enhanced fellowship of INR 16,000 per month for 24 months.
2. Travel-cum-contingency amount of INR 1,10,000 for travel and other expenses to support research including buying a laptop.
3. Internship of three months during the summer of 2019.
4. Interact, learn, and work with Ricoh Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) teams on real business/technology problems.
Eligibility & Selection:
Open to all M.Tech. (Computational and Data Science) students starting in August 2018 and wishing to pursue their dissertation project in the area of data analysis with Prof. Phaneendra Yalavarthy as the dissertation advisor. The selection committee will comprise CDS department faculty members and representatives from Ricoh Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.
