About the Fellowship:
Wells Fargo Women M.Tech. Fellowship has been instituted at IISc and aimed at encouraging highly talented women students to pursue careers in deep technology sector in order to address the gender inequality in science and technology.
Given to the incoming M.Tech. students of Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) starting from batch of August 2021.
Entitlements of the Fellowship:
- Enhanced fellowship of Rs. 25,000 per month for 24 months
- Travel cum contingency amount of Rs. 2,50,000 for international/national travel and other expenses to support research including buying a laptop
- Attractive research grant for the dissertation advisor
Eligibility & Selection:
All Women M.Tech. students of course and research programs in every batch (starting from batch of August 2021)
The selection committee will consist of CDS department faculty members.
