Prof. Chirag Jain was awarded NERSC High Performance Computing Achievement Award. The NERSC award pays tribute to the accomplishments of young researchers in scientific areas supported by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science. IISc and Aster CMI hospital launched an artificial intelligence lab on 18 March. This lab is spearheaded by Prof. Phaneendra K. Yalavarthy. 

Prof. R. Venkatesh Babu has been conferred with Prof. Satish Dhawan Young Engineers State Award 2019 by the Government of Karnataka.
